This two-layer chia pudding is a true superfood for breakfast or snacks. The wild blueberry (bilberry) powder is rich in antioxidants, and the chia seeds are packed with nutritious Omega-3 fats.

The bottom chia seed layer has a beautiful bluish-purple color, thanks to the high amount of anthocyanins (antioxidants) in the wild blueberry powder. The top layer is a basic white vanilla chia seed pudding. To make the pudding irresistible, finish it with your favorite toppings.

Wild blueberry chia pudding

Serving size: 1

Total time: 65 minutes



Chia pudding:

1/4 cup (60 mL) chia seeds

1-2 teaspoons of Arctic Flavors wild blueberry powder

1 cup (240 mL) almond milk

1 tablespoon maple syrup

1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract


Fresh fruits (e.g. pomegranate seeds or strawberries)

Nuts or seeds (e.g. pecans or sunflower seeds)

Coconut flakes



  1. To have two layers, split the chia seeds into 2 equal portions.
  2. Keep the one portion plain, and mix the other one with the wild blueberry powder.
  3. Mix together the liquids (almond milk, maple syrup, and vanilla extract).
  4. Pour half of the liquids into the plain chia seed portion and mix well.
  5. Pour the other half of the liquids in the blueberry chia seed portion and mix well.
  6. Let rest for 1 hour, or overnight to absorb the liquids. To avoid stickiness, mix the puddings occasionally, especially in the beginning.
  7. Once the chia seeds have absorbed the liquids, transfer the blueberry pudding to the bottom of your serving cup. After that, add the plain pudding on top and finish with your favorite toppings.
  8. Enjoy your wild blueberry chia seed pudding!
